About Institution of Our "Corporate Code
of Conduct"
April 1, 2003
We have instituted our "corporate code of conduct." This
code acts as the corporate action guidelines for observing laws/regulations
as well as prescriptive social norms and others. It not only identifies
and explains important ethical items, but also prescribes target corporate
activities and the image our employees are expected to project, including
how we contribute to the society and a working environment that is
rich in employee autonomy and creativity.

and employees must observe when we conduct various corporate activities.

Development
of System
In order to put the corporate code of conduct and the corporate standard
of code into action, we are building the following system.
 |
1. |
We create a "compliance handbook" and
distribute it to the company officials and employees to ensure
that the codes are thoroughly known. Moreover, the handbook
will be made available on our home page to announce it to the
public at large. |
| 2. |
We continuously carry out in-house training. Moreover,
we conduct compliance education regarding individual specific
laws and regulations as necessary. |
| 3. |
We set up a consultation window that handles issues
regarding compliance to the codes and establish a system for
responding to consultation by employees directly. |
